Job Responsibilities:
The Java Developer will be expected to:
Develop web applications primarily using Java and Oracle Develop SQL statements and PL/SQL stored procedures Work with Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE) using Continuous Integration (CI) methods with ProjectForge/Collabnet and Subversion for version control, change management, configuration management, build, and release management Decipher and gather requirements for customer approval of application changes and create tasks and assign story points for Agile software development projects Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation Create detailed plan of action and follow through with little to no supervision
Qualifications:
Experience with Java B.S. Computer Science (CS) and 3 - 5 years' experience in software design and development DoD 8570 IAM Level I Certified Must have and maintain a Department of Defense SECRET Clearance
Desired Experience:
Experience with Agile software development life cycle Experience with Department of Defense software projects Military experience; military force mobility and deployment process knowledge or experience Experience with WebLogic, Ibatis, JavaServer Faces, Spring framework JavaScript, jQuery, SQL Developer, TOAD, CSS and XML experience Experience working with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and design Experience with Oracle Advanced Queuing or queuing technologies
