Job Description: Duties include editing lesson plans, grading tests, updating tests, planning, completing additional training, providing remedial assistance, and other administrative matters. The facilitator will train USTRANSCOM, FORSCOM, USAF, and SDDC students using TRADOC approved Programs of Instruction. The facilitator will support instructing the Transportation Coordinator’s – Automated Information for Movements System II (TC-AIMS II) course in residence at the Transportation School and traveling CONUS and OCONUS to conduct unit training. Facilitators are fully responsible for the instruction of various courses and blocks of instruction that supports this area. Facilitators shall apply subject matter knowledge to recommend changes to POIs, lesson plans and acquisition and application of training aids and for automated deployment systems. Facilitators shall support training objectives, complete, full-length courses (or major course units of comparable scope) to support Army Transportation and Deployment training requirements.
Skills and Certifications required:
The Transportation Coordinator's - Automated Information for Movements System II, facilitator shall have a current working knowledge of and a minimum of three years of experience with TC-AIMS II as a functional user, system administrator, and theater distribution/theater operations. Facilitators will be capable of and have held a position as a facilitator in a military service environment for at least one year. Facilitators will have experience with and current knowledge of the Defense Transportation System and Deployment/Movement Management program/systems. Facilitators will have knowledge of and work experience with the following agencies in military transportation actions: DOD, USTRANSCOM, FORSCOM, and USAF. Facilitators will have working knowledge of how TC-AIMS II interacts with and work experience with GATES-S, ICODES, and RFID/AIT. Facilitators will have excellent oral and written communication skills and have a minimum education level of one year of college. Facilitators must have a certificate from TC-AIMS II or be able take the course and pass the course
