Job Description:

Identify and look up parts for all makes and models of equipment. Order and monitor parts orders for internal and external customers. Interface with internal and external customers to resolve issues regarding parts availability. Provide support to field and shop employees. Process returns and monitor inventory. Maintain will call area. Monitor and suggest inventory needs and changes. Research back order parts and communicate ship dates and possible delays. Work with vendors to obtain the best possible service and pricing. Pull parts as needed in warehouse and distribute to shop area. Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will have the ability to lift 50 lbs. They would also have the desire to become familiar with all truck parts and parts options for the entire truck and understand the aftermarket parts business as well as the Caterpillar parts systems.
Required Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent decision making ability
- Willingness to learn
- Strong computer experience including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word and Lotus Notes
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
- Customer service skills
- Supply chain
Helpful skills:
- Knowledge of truck parts and truck parts suppliers
- Ability to research for the best price and availability
