How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:

The Supervisor, Product Development is responsible for management and cross-functional projects including the design/development of new allograft solutions and allograft processes including improvements to existing products and processes. Supervises engineers and technical staff to support department priorities.

What you'll do:
Oversees the day to day activities of engineering staff. Provides technical guidance, coaching and mentoring. Supports professional development and performance management for the team, including providing training, regular performance feedback, documented annual evaluations, and informal counseling and/or formal corrective action, as needed. Develops and manages projects (product, process and/or equipment) consistent with established priorities. Leads high complexity project(s) implementing new technology with a large cross-functional team or multiple concurrent projects of lower complexity. Prepares and presents updates to colleagues and management. This includes responsibility as the lead investigator on assigned complaints and errors. Coordinates the planning, development, testing, documentation and implementation of new and/or improved allograft solutions, including drafting and/or guiding the drafting and execution of test plans and testing protocols of new allograft tissues, new processes and the improvement of existing processes utilizing LifeNet Health's design control process. Generates complex technical protocols and reports as applies to verification and validation of new products and/or improvement implementations. Maintains production, design and development records in accordance with LifeNet Health's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering White Belt Lean Certification from LNH Lean University or similar within 1 year 8 years Engineering experience in a medical device development 3 years Supervisory/Management Experience 2 years Project Lead Experience (guiding/coaching/mentoring junior engineers)

These would be nice too (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):
Proficiency in Solidworks, MiniTAB, JMP as well as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; MS Project, Workfront or other PM softwareAbility to manage project activities and meet deadlines as required including the use of appropriate quality and design control tools and methods; able to present project information and data to project team and managementAbility to communicate conclusions and recommended path; able to present complex information to peers and nontechnical leadership; able to describe and convince decision makers and senior leadership on recommended pathAbility to work as part of a team in solving problems and executing improvement initiativesAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet business needs
