Career Opportunity
We have a career opportunity for a Senior Software Developer to lead a combined team of several developers and IT staff supporting the development of applications for the Navy AEGIS Tech Rep program office. Successful candidates will have strong technical expertise in enterprise software development using Microsoft ColdFusion. MS SQL database integration of applications, as well as a strong work ethic and communication skills.

Responsibilities
The Senior Software Developer will be primarily responsible for the development of existing as well as new software applications and associated deliverables. He / she will also function as the lead on a team of developers and IT support personnel responsible for the development, installation, and operational support of those programs, associated databases, and systems.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related fields
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in web application development and database programming
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Must demonstrates superior oral and written communication skills to work closely with all levels of personnel involved in the technical aspects of systems

Qualifications

Desired Experience

Familiar with SECNAV M-5239.2 DON Cyber/IT Workforce Policy
Experience with ColdFusion (Java and Java Script)
Experience with MS SQL Server
Knowledge of total IT picture to include application development, database integration, network connectivity as well as end user support.
