MBP is looking for a Senior Scheduler with significant experience providing schedule development and/or review services on vertical and/or horizontal construction projects. Highly proficient in Oracle P6 and experienced with one or more of the following: Microsoft Project, Phoenix Project Manager, or similar. Demonstrated ability as a scheduler for horizontal transportation projects is required. Additional experience with vertical projects preferred. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Responsibilities
Main Duties:
Performs reviews of contractor-submitted baseline and periodic schedule updates for compliance with the specification and overall reasonableness. Provides schedule development and updates services for contractors. Develops and/or reviews time extension requests. Assists with development and/or analysis of post-construction delay analyses. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills and Abilities
Significant experience providing schedule development and/or review services on vertical and/or horizontal construction projects. Highly proficient in Oracle P6 and experienced with one or more of the following: Microsoft Project, Phoenix Project Manager, or similar. Additional experience in one or more of the following desired: construction management, cost estimating, value engineering, risk management, constructibility review, claims analysis, and/or contract administration. Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience. Proficiency in reading/understanding construction plans and specifications. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience providing training, supervision, proposal development, and business development desired. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Education
B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant experience which equates to this degree. P.E. license, Certified Construction Manager, Planning and Scheduling Professional, and/or Project Management Professional certification preferred. * Specific title based on candidate's education, background, and level of experience.
