Job Title: Data Programmer

Job Overview & Responsibilities
Mythics is looking for a Data Programmer who will work onsite in Brooklyn, New York for a public service agency delivering a Data Warehouse solution. As the Data Programmer, you must have Data integrator and have proficient usage of data migration toolsets such as Oracle and SQL Developer (PL/SQL) for successful delivery of a BI solution for a public service agency. You will be responsible for maintaining a production application and populate new and existing data marts as defined.

Responsibilities:
Work with the technical lead and senior staff to implement the solution Perform data analysis, application design and support drafting technical design documents Participate in design sessions of the solution and develop according to specifications Participate in peer reviews as needed Provide technical and production support as needed Apply database changes based on information such as client feedback, requirement changes and new technology.

Qualifications
* Must be able to obtain a Public Trust * 100% onsite in Brooklyn, NY Bachelor's or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or another engineering major and/or equivalent work experience 8+ years of experience with IT industry using Data warehouse build products (SQL Developer, TOAD, ODI, Oracle RDBMS, etc.). 3+ years of experience in ODI and Oracle database Recent, long-term full lifecycle engagement as a data programmer or data integrator using Oracle 12c or higher. Full lifecycle data integrator experience including ETL programming and design, performing data model mappings, establishing source to target interface connections Experience developing Packages, Procedures and Functions with PL/SQL to support ETL processes Implement data archive/recovery, database implementation, and data transfer Clean and maintain database by organizing and deleting old data Map data elements between various data source technologies Define ETL logic to move data between locations Develop detailed documentation for custom ETL data mappings Create load packages Perform Database Administration duties as needed.
