Job Title: Sr. Contracts Specialist- SME

Panum is looking for a Contract Specialist SME - Subject Matter Expert -for an awarded contract. Prior experience with federal contracting and procurement is a must – preferably with the CBP or DHS. The period of performance for this task is 1 year with several option years.

Job Description

The objective of this contract includes assisting in preparing acquisition packages by reviewing each package, ensuring that all required documents are provided prior to presenting the packages for approval. Work independently with little oversight by the Government and be experienced, skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of Federal Government acquisition (i.e. requirements development, acquisition planning, solicitation development, proposal evaluation, negotiations, source selection, contract

administration and contract closeout). CBP requires contractor support services to assist with non-inherently governmental contracting tasks (pre-award and contract administration) for their contracting office in Indianapolis. Have the ability to communicate, orally and in writing, with Program and Contracting personnel about the details of technical requirements, acquisitions, provide advice and guidance, and support complex acquisition contracts and processes.



Developing and/or updating acquisition documents and operational guidance to support and strengthen acquisition planning activities
Addressing the specific recommendations for updates to existing Departmental documents and procedures, consistent with the COR directions
Provide full acquisition life-cycle support for supplies and services for the Customs & Border Protection.
Experience in all contract types.
