**Job summary**

Our Stockholm based Environmental team currently has a vacancy for a Junior Environmental Engineer. The successful candidate will take responsibility in all aspects of Environmental work on local, national and international schemes from our Stockholm.

The Environmental business in the Nordics represents over many years of accumulated skills, experience and established culture in the delivery of all types of Environmental work; from contaminated soil investigation and remediation, risk assessments, remedial design and follow-up.

Our Stockholm office has good transport links and the teams have an established reputation for quality and delivery. We are looking to enhance and enlarge these teams with people who have a sound technical background and share our enthusiasm and determination.

As a Junior Environmental Engineer your tasks and responsibilities include:

+ Scope, tender and administer environmental projects.

+ Produce project specific technical and financial reports.

+ Provide project leadership in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.

+ Lead by example in quality and ensure this is addressed throughout a project.

+ Interface directly with other team members, and with other internal teams from various disciplines and contractors.

+ Work collaboratively and iteratively within a multi-disciplinary design team, to ensure work packages are delivered on time and within budget.

+ Establish a strong working relationships and ensure regular liaison with other internal teams.

+ Implement AECOM Project Management procedures, learn to understand their importance and their application to projects, including monthly progress and budget reviews of projects.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Minimum 2 years of working experience as a consultant or project manager within the Environmental industry.

+ A degree in Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Geology, Chemistry or similar fields is preferred.

+ Proven track record in the technical support of projects and be conversant with the standards that apply.

+ Able to demonstrate an understanding of the industry.

+ Commercial mindset with an interest for the business.

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Fluency in Swedish.

+ Very good English (both in written and verbal).

+ Driving License.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience with PFAS would be a distinct advantage.
