**Job Summary**

AECOM Sweden is currently looking for a Design Manager to shape shape the Information Management and BIM requirements, implementing them for effective design management through our project.

In the role, the candidate will be responsible for:

+ Provide leadership and ensure quality deliverables for all design aspects of the project.

+ Derive BIM modelling requirements and guidelines for contract specification and for lifecycle BIM usage.

+ Coordinate and review technical contents of design solutions and corresponding digital transposition.

+ Resolve design coordination issues with the design teams both internally and externally.

+ Lead design and BIM specific meetings and discussions, including kick-off, coordination and review (with the support of project team)

+ Supervise and direct work of junior engineers, modelers and drafters through the whole design process.

+ Configure and maintain project Common Data Environment and define communication workflow and information.

+ Exchange procedures for effective management of engineering design deliverables.

+ Coordinate and manage link between CAD, BIM, GIS, document control and sources of information associated with the project.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Master degree in Civil Engineering.

+ Several years experience within the Swedish Transportation (Infrastructure) industry.

+ Holding or working toward BIM-related professional certification is an advantage

+ Thorough understanding of BIM processes and their introduction into new projects

+ Proficiency in PAS BIM-related standards and BIM Level 2 implementation principles

+ Good communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels

+ Fluent in Swedish and English

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Driving licence
