Job Description:

Applied Research Associates Inc. is seeking an Electronic Countermeasures Analyst to provide on-site support for electronic warfare requirements of a DoD client in Research and Development, Test and Evaluation, Cyber Defense, and the Space operational landscape. Applicant will lead studies in electronic warfare (EW), Electronic Countermeasures, Electronic Counter-Countermeasures collaboration and initiatives.

The successful candidate:
Supports EW doctrine, operations, policy, and authority and integration of lessons learned to support senior leader decision making.Conducts deliberate and contingency planning, analysis of functional plan development, and validation, coordination, and integration in conjunction with senior leaders, components, DoD, and Interagency.Provides quality and relevant input on strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, and strategic operational analysis reports. .Performs research, collection, collation and compilation of data, and preparation of inputs into larger reports. .Applies knowledge of threat radar systems, including RF signal processing designs and techniques, electronic warfare intelligence data systems and databases, and how they are used in programming or reprogramming electronic warfare systems.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or other related discipline and 7-9+ years of experienceExperience with planning or management of electronic spectrum/warfare operations in the DoD at the Combatant Command or Service level.Experience with Joint functions at the operational, strategic, or national level.Knowledge of threat radar systems, including RF signal processing designs and techniques, electronic warfare intelligence data systems and databases, and how they are used in programming or reprogramming electronic warfare systems.US citizen with a minimum DoD Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access
Desired Qualifications:
Current DoD TS/SCI security clearanceMaster's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or other related disciplineExperience providing direct support to MAIS, ACAT, MDAP programs at the Strategic and Operational Level.5 years of experience with electronic warfare operations in the DoD as an Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) or Electronic Countermeasures Officer (ECMO).Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data, solve problems, and effectively communicate results to senior leaders and decision makers.Experience with Joint doctrine, including Joint Doctrine Note 3-16, CJCSI 3320.0D, Joint electromagnetic spectrum operations, CJCSM 3320.01 series and Joint operations in the electromagnetic battlespace.Experience developing and coordinating Joint Restricted Frequency ListsExperience using the Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB), technical SIGINT tools and analytic applications, and spectrum management tools.Experience with the Joint Targeting Toolkit (JTT), Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB), and Master Air Attack Plan Toolkit (MAAP).Knowledge of terrestrial communications, SATCOM, and GPS threats.Excellent analytical skills at strategic and operational levels, oral and written communication skills, and organization skills.Attended the Joint Targeting School, the USAF Targeting IFTU, or one of the DoD's planner courses.
This position is contingent upon award of a contract expected in Spring 2020 supporting the Department of Defense.
