Job Description

The Operations Work Flow Manager is part of a team that supports projects within Cognosante's State Solutions (CSS) business unit. The Operations Work Flow Manager works with the Project Director to define, plan, schedule, and control all activities related to healthcare business process operations. This includes healthcare eligibility application processing, periodic eligibility reviews, and case maintenance operations. The Operations Work Flow Manager ensures that appropriate resources are available to accomplish the tasks, deliverables, and other activities associated with the project, contractual obligations are met, staff knowledge and skills are appropriate, and recommends adjustments to achieve and maintain high efficiency, accuracy, and quality results.

This position is required to work onsite full-time in the Topeka, KS area with an anticipated start date of April 1, 2020.

Key Responsibilities
Support executive leadership and teams on any issues that arise and on-going discussion of progressDevelop deep familiarity with the contract stipulations and work closely with Cognosante Contracts and Project Director on all contract-related actions to ensure alignment with contractual requirements and scopeAssist with hiring, retaining and growing capable and effective project team membersDeploy team building and professional development strategies to create high-performing teamsClosely monitor and manage team members to align with the staffing plans, schedule, and cost constraints and goalsDevelop client deliverables in accordance with project requirements and company documentation standardsDirect the development of project deliverables to be submitted on a timely basisOversee daily activities of project team including makingassignmentsPrepare status report and participate in customer status meetingsSupport the project meetings and status reporting activitiesWork closely with the customer to maintain an excellent relationshipAssess project deliverables and risks and issues, providing recommendations to improve outcomesFacilitate customer meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes as neededInterface with customer and business usersResearch and provide recommendations to the customer on critical business decisionsCollaborate with other team members to provide subject matter expertise and assistance as applicableParticipate in other project tasks as necessary

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 3 years' experience managing business operations, people and/or projectsPMI PMP® certification or other Project Management certification attained or in progressStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and customer service skillsPrior experience in a client-facing, project leadership role in a business process operations environmentProficiency with MS Office Suite, Including MS Project and SharePoint
