Job Description
Analyzes client information and develops and evaluates top-line outreach strategies to meet objectives. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and manages the client service aspects of the account portfolio and assumes responsibility for bottom-line results. Develops and implements high-level strategic communications; manages, motivates, and leads staff; and builds and manages project teams. Ensures the contract team performs work on schedule and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for driving VHA HRO Transformation effort: culture of high reliability and continuous improvement through leadership, engagement, coaching, and development of process improvement initiatives at all levels of the organizationUses evidenced-based practice and safety science to continuously improve and advance the culture of safety for the hospital. Serves as a strong facilitator, coach and subject matter expert regarding safety and collaborates with all members of the team to mitigate risks and drive high reliability and zero harmResponsible for the integration of HRO Core Competencies into daily functions in the field. Serves as an expert providing content knowledge on principles of High Reliability Science and High Reliability PrinciplesExperience in utilizing data for continuous quality improvement such as Lean/Six Sigma methodology and High Reliability principles in the healthcare settingProven experience in delivering high reliability and high-efficiency solutionsDesigns and implements innovative educational/training programs to help foster a culture of high reliability, patient safety and continuous improvementLead and facilitate strategic conversations with VHA organizational leadership regarding the development of HRO environmentsLeverage proven techniques to elicit and analyze client needs then provide key input to produce high-quality deliverables and solutionsDynamic leader with strong initiative, facilitation and collaboration skills. Effective change agentDemonstrated strong people skills, and oral and written communication skills to effectively facilitate teams, deliver presentations and express ideas. Required Qualifications
A Master's Degree from an accredited institution and 8 years of relevant experience.
