This position is contingent upon Contract Award.

The Supply Technician reports to the US Coast Guard CTISC Program Manager and will perform supply and logistics duties in support of US Coast Guard Programs. S/he provides professional procurement, tracking, receiving, shipping and issuance of material and parts to support the day-to-day operations of the division.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Performs clerical and manual tasks to maintain an inventory of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Performs clerical and manual duties in material areas such as receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Maintains established inventory levels by checking shelves and then notifying supervisor at established reorder points or preparing purchase orders. Maintains a supply management database, and generates various reports as assigned. Maintains related documentation for the use and issuing of Government furnished material as well as Contractor Furnished material. Uses online resources as needed for parts/equipment technical research, data updates, and related communications. Participates in special projects as required. Perform special assignments on request, providing substantive support and assistance to the Management team.

Required Skills
Experience, Education and Licensure:

Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance; High School diploma, Minimum two (2) years familiarity with the UC Coast Guard or Navy Supply to include researching, tracking, and contacting vendors with NSN/Part Numbers.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills in order to interface with personnel and other government agencies at all levels; Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; Must be able to understand and interpret Engineering Drawings; Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications (MS Word, PowerPoint). Solid Excel experience is a must; Experience working with data bases; Ability to work independently; Its desired but not required to have proficiency in operation of warehouse equipment to include pallet jacks and forklifts

Near visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone; manual dexterity to operate a telephone and keyboard; lift horizontally and vertically.

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Additional Qualifying Factors:

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TTI are required.
