Job Description:

As the Systems Administrator, you will provide Command and Control (C2) and GCCS system administration, software, and hardware support. You will be applying advanced skill and knowledge, working with other project team members, to ensure smooth and continuous progress in achieving program goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Manage system infrastructure including, databases, testing computer equipment, firewalls, malware and other software and hardware. Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues that may arise. Monitor the system daily and respond quickly to any security breaches or usability concerns. Backup systems and verify that backups have been completed. Regularly upgrade systems as needed. Assist in integrating new applications and technologies into the current system

Non-Essential Duties: Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills
Experience, Education and Licensure:

Currently active Secret clearance. 7 years of job-related Systems Administration experience working with the following Operating Systems: Red Hat Linux , Windows 2008 thru 2012 10 years of experience with: Command and Control systems integration in DOD and USCG environments. 5 years of virtualization methodologies and technologies such as but not limited to: VMware High-Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), vCenter Update Manager, VMware vCenter Orchestrator Appliance, VMware vCenter Client, VMware vSphere Replication
Certifications/Qualifications:

Security + USCG Enterprise Application Privileged User Level 4 as part of the Privileged User Management Program (PUMP)
Annual training to include:

CG Privileged User Information Assurance Responsibilities (PU-IA-R) Training Cyber Awareness Challenge Training

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Additional Qualifying Factors:


Must have a secret security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TTI are required.
