Job Description:

The Security Specialist III (Security Escort) will ensure that necessary physical security standards are maintained while persons not cleared visit secure areas of the office suites. This is a regular part-time position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Verify that visitors to the Principle have been properly processed and issued necessary identification badges and that visitors properly display identification badges at all times Obtain visitor's credentials (badges, forms, etc) as visitors exit the area or building Remaining with visiting officials at all times while maintaining visual contact until the excused by the host office Prevent visitors from accessing areas not authorized. Ensure visitors are not carrying, or do not use, items that prohibited in a secure area Maintain acute awareness of possible counter-intelligence or terrorism activities Provide construction surveillance services when necessary Setup/breakdown Treaty Room for camera sprays, treaty signing, swearing-in, and/or retirement ceremonies Serve as backup to the other security socialists as needed

Required Skills

US citizen with a valid US passport and possess or obtain/maintain a minimum a TS/SCI clearance Minimum experience in area of physical security standards 7- 10 years Construction Surveillance Technician/Cleared American Guard Training (CST) Must be able to stand for long periods Positive and responsive attitude Team oriented in a high-profile high stress work environment Excellent communications skills
Preferred:

BS / BA degree

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. Additional Qualifying Factors:

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a top secret security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for Tatitlek are required. Tatitlek Shareholder preference applies.
