SUMMARY
This is an entry level position. The Configuration Management Specialist supports procurement data management efforts. The position is not covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) Davis Bacon Act (DBA), or union.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Configuration Management Specialists supports procurement data management efforts. Contacting Vendors for parts quotes. Use local applications for ordering and receiving parts, obtaining contract data for ordered items and verifying commercial vendor part numbers. Monitors data via audit reports for accurate input and provide metric data. Track procurement receipt of items procured. Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Required Skills
Education and Experience:
Currently hold or have the ability to attain a government security clearance High school diploma or equivalent Two (2) years of experience in Configuration and Data Management, Data Quality Assurance and Quality Control, or Inventory Management
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with U.S. Navy and DoD procurement a plus.
