Career Opportunity
We are currently seeking candidates for a Navy Cyber Auditor position supporting the AEGIS Technical Representative Professional Support Services Contract in Moorestown, NJ. The Navy Cyber Auditor is responsible for ensuring continuous reporting of all security audit event log sources. Investigating and facilitating remediation of non-reporting log sources with associated System/Network Administrators.

Responsibilities
Analyze Windows, UNIX, and Network security audit events using Security Information Event Management (SIEM) tools (e.g. Splunk), and accurately interpret events based on defined criteria. Investigate root causes of suspected/confirmed security incidents or compromise of computing resources. Evaluate events from various Continuous Monitoring log sources (g. ACAS, HBSS, Firewall, WIDS, etc.) to identify possible threat vectors, and (when required) to correlate security audit event anomalies/findings. When required, document and report security incidents and suspected compromises to computing resources identified in security audit events, and provide inputs for supporting investigations. Document security auditing processes and best practices performed on various computing platforms and SIEM tools. Ensure compliance with DoD/US Navy (USN) Auditing (AU), Confirmation Management (CM) and Incident Response (IR) requirements.
The successful candidate will work both independently and as part of a team and will assist the Task Lead and Government customer with tasks as assigned and is expected to show initiative.

Security Clearance
Final Secret security clearance.
Education
3+ years of experience with an Undergraduate Degree; 5+ years of experience with an Associate's Degree; 8+ years of experience with a High School Diploma

Security+, CISSP, CISA, CySA+, CCNA Security, CCNA Cyber Ops, CEH, CSA, GCIA, CSIH, GCIH, GSNA, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP Certification Understanding of various Windows, UNIX, and Network DISA STIG configurations and security audit event log sources (e.g. Windows event logs, syslog, BSM, auditd, etc.) Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g. Splunk) and vulnerability Fluent in MS Office Products (2-3 years' experience)
Desired Skills
OS Certification (Windows, UNIX, or Network) Familiarity with NIST 800-53 security control requirements Experience in or understanding of performing investigative analysis of network switch, router, firewall, network IDS, and wireless IDS (WIDS) traffic. Understanding of DISA HBSS and ACAS applications. Excellent customer service skills
