Enterprise Information Services (EIS) is currently seeking a Service Desk Analyst, with experience in Naval Tactical Support Command System, NTCSS, Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity OOMA - Afloat/Ashore Maintenance supporting the Navy Enterprise Service Desk (NESD) at the NESD Naval Information Warfare Centers-Atlantic, NWIC, (formerly SPAWAR-Atlantic) in Norfolk, VA. EIS is a leading mid-tier solutions integrator providing Systems Engineering, Information Technology, and Program Management Office (PMO) services and solutions to the Federal Government for more than 25 years. EIS employs more than 400 professionals in 40 locations in over 25 states and OCONUS.
Responsibilities
In this position you will work with a team of approximately eight (8) Tier 1 support Service Desk Analysts offering guidance and technical insight support. All Service Desks Analysts should have experience with Navy Electronics (ETs) and Navy Information Systems (ITS). Individuals with Navy experience - Navy Veteran or Navy Civilian are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
US Citizen with Active Secret Clearance. Interim Secret will be considered. Experience as Navy Information Technology Specialist (IT, ET, FT, FC) with NEC 2730 (NTCSS) Navy Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS). NEC may be substituted with documented experience in NTCSS. Candidate experienced with shore and afloat maintenance procedures including Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activities (OOMA), Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM), Naval Tactical Command Support System, NTCSS (including NALCOMIS/RSupply/RADM) and other shore/afloat maintenance practices. IT, LS, AZ, AT, E6 or above In addition to IT \"A\" school, the ITs have a minimum 6 months of specialized NTCSS and OOMA training, (external system access can be granted with Cyber Security requirements being met as an IT prerequisite). The LS, AZs and ATs require a minimum of 2 years training (external system access not typically granted due to no Cyber Security requirements on these ratings.
