Overview
The USACISA-P provides Mission Command (MC) network operations and maintenance (O&M) services to the U.S. Army Command Information Systems Activity - Pacific (USACISA-P). Information Technology (IT) and Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I) services provided by USACISA-P enables Mission Command (MC) capabilities for the United Nations Command/Combined Forces Command/United States Forces Korea (UNC/CFC/USFK) Commander's operation and mission. All current and future C4I IT systems and services, including programs-of-record (POR) systems, are integrated into the Combined/Joint Mission Command network directly supporting Net-Centric Operations (NCO). NCO increases collaboration by enabling rapid, reliable and secure free flow of information across the battlespace, ensuring that all acquired data is collected, processed into information, then disseminated quickly to the warfighter or system that needs it. NCO serves as a force multiplier to shorten the warfighter's kill chain; Find, Fix, Track, Target, Engage and Destroy.
The objective is to support UNC/CFC/USFK alliance net-centric warfare in support of the Korean Theater of Operations (KTO) by building and sustaining a distributed, web-enabled, Mission Command (MC) capability through a wide-area network enterprise environment filled with reliable, available, resilient, and secure information that is of value to the Warfighter.
Responsibilities
The Cybersecurity Manager is responsible to:
Provide overall Cybersecurity expertise for the MC network Operation, Maintenance (O&M) and technical support in the implementation of the Network and Network Operations (NetOps) capabilities. Analyze systems, programs, and applications for compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and suitability for connecting to the Army's Enterprise Network, the DoDIN. Provide Cybersecurity services that facilitate the creation and sustainment of the Global Network Enterprise; i.e., strategic planning, standards creation and sustainment; functional requirements development, management, and traceability; IT-Metrics program management, Program Management, Service Management process management; IT infrastructure configuration, change, and release management; and Tier Three problem management for operational networks and systems globally. Provide/manage cybersecurity designated and appointed roles and actions involving secure configuration compliance validation via government designated tools and resources, to include: Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) Security Center and Nessus scanner administration, Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS) and other approved DOD compliance solutions, Enclave security administration, Host Based Security System (HBSS) administration, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) / Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) or integrated service in next generation firewall administration, enterprise endpoint security administration, Cross Domain Solution (CDS) administration, RMF input, product generation, support, scans, checks and configuration management administration, Government designated support for the preparation and inspection by the Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) compliance as determined by the government guidance and directives and applicable governance. Perform/.manage Cybersecurity actions IAW official government guidelines and directives, which currently include: Information Assurance Vulnerability Management notifications (IAVM), DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) guidelines, and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
Qualifications
Ten (10) or more years in Computer Network Defense (CND), or ten (10) years of experience in Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity.
At time of appointment, must have
1) Degree in computer science, information technology, or another related field.
2) Completed SSBI
3) IAM Level-III certification IAW DoD 8570.01-1M;
4) Secret Clearance
5) US Citizenship
