Job Description:

This position is located in the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations, Construction Program Development, Coordination, and Support Directorate, Office of Design and Engineering, Electrical Engineering Division (OBO/PDCS/DE/EE).  DE serves as OBO’s code officials and provides design, research and technical expertise bureau-wide for all DOS facilities overseas.

As an Electrical Engineer assigned to the Electrical Engineering Division of OBO/PDCS/DE/EE, the incumbent serves as a senior Electrical Engineer and technical expert with overall responsibility for technical business management of designated major design, construction, and renovation or alteration of projects at embassies, consulates, senior officers’ residences, staff quarters, special use structures, and other facilities at diverse overseas locations, and for collaborating with planning and design managers and OBO construction Project Executives.

Bachelors degree or higher

Over $100,000
