IPKeys Technologies is seeking a Big Data Engineer to support an effort with the Defense Logistics Agency, that will be located in Stafford, VA
Responsibilities
Responsible for the engineering of big data solutions and multi-tiered data environments. Experience with large scale big data deployments in Government and large commercial environments preferred
Leads initiatives utilizing big data solutions to provide actionable insights for addressing strategic and tactical mission objectives Experience with Hadoop-based technologies (Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapReduce, Hive, HDFS) Experience with NoSQL technologies (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) (d) Ability to design data models using Enterprise Data modeling tools (ERWin, Visio) Builds high-performance algorithms, prototypes, and data models using required programing languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java, Perl, Scala) Analyzes and develops data set processes for data ingestion, modeling, mining Experience integrating Big Data solutions with SAP technologies Agile delivery methods Instrumentation of tiles, cards and dashboards utilizing the SAPUI5 development stack Modeling JSON data to be exposed in a RESTful API for Front end consumption Writing RESTful APIs Building connectors for all repositories and required search engines Creating and maintaining API/connectors to various repositories and beyond the portal within DLA network reach Creating and maintaining complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures Scripting and writing efficient SQL queries, SQL query tuning and database schema design Develop, test and deploy ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) Develop, test, deploy and review complex queries in SQL Server Utilizing Microsoft Team Foundation Server and the tracking/management of project initiatives Working with a Git Repository for source code managemen Maintain connectivity through the Portals or Modern web front-ends Build and load balancing RESTful APIs DoD STIG process Building 508 accessible Portals and Front-End solutions
Qualifications
IC Agile Certified Professional- Software Tester (A4Q Selenium Tester Foundation or equivalent), and Application Administrator (SAP Integration Technology Overview and SAP Hana certifications listed on Computer Environment Certification Listing as of 21 May 2019)
Experience
Senior Level: 5+ years of relevant experience
Education
Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Business, Applied Math, or related field.
Security
Qualified candidates must maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
