Job Title: Senior .NET Developer

SBD is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join a team of application development professionals responsible for the modernization of three major web applications for our federal financial customer located in Alexandria, VA. These applications support credit union growth and development by providing resources for low-income, minority, and any credit union seeking assistance with chartering, charter conversions, by-law amendments, field of membership (FOM) expansion requests, and low-income designations. They also provide access to online training and resources, as well as grants and loans.

Responsibilities: Design, create, and modify web and line of business applications. Full stack development on the Microsoft / .Net / SQL Server platform. Create back-end code and interfaces for new web service interfaces. Integrate web sites and solutions with other computer applications. Skillset Requirements: Knowledge and experience in Agile system design & development and the SDLC process for transitioning existing systems to new technologies; Knowledge and experience in agile systems development methods, including interacting, communicating, and collaborating with government counterparts, including receiving and applying feedback to change and adapt to meet needs; Knowledge and experience in web interface technology refresh activities that consolidate and provide tighter integration of business processes; Knowledge and experience working with Windows 2016 Servers, IIS, and WPF/WCF; and SQL Server; Knowledge and experience working with .NET; ASP.NET; Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), SSIS, MSSQL, and SharePoint; Experienced with .Net frontend/ backend development with C# (Java development with the desire to use C# is acceptable); Experienced with HTML, JavaScript, and other related web frontend languages; Experienced with SQL using an enterprise database (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.); Experienced with web service technologies (REST/ SOAP); Experience as a .NET technical lead directing a group of developers. Additional Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering field; 5+ years of experience working as a full-time developer; Must have and maintain a minimum of Legal Permanent Resident Status. Non-U.S. citizen applicants with Legal Permanent Resident status must have resided in the United States for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years; All applicants must be able to successfully obtain a federal agency-specific background investigation (Public Trust), inclusive of a credit check, prior to beginning work for this customer.
