Longeviti is searching for an Industrial /Organizational Psychologist (Subject Matter Expert). Longeviti seeks a subject matter expert who has applied knowledge and experience developing, leading the development, and providing thought leadership in the implementation of MCO identification, competency assessment, and career pathing. Longeviti is hoping to obtain an expert/thought leader who can add value by contributing insights to the project that our internal have not even thought of. This work lies firmly in the field of industrial/organizational psychology.
*Requires PhD in industrial/organizational psychology from top 10 recognized industrial/organizational psychology program.
*Requires minimum of 10 years developing, implementing, managing learning and development solutions such as career paths and training programs.
*Requires minimum of 10 years work experience in HC arena, with a minimum of 5 years applied working experience after obtaining doctorate
*Requires minimum of 10 years developing, implementing, managing learning and development solutions such as career paths and training and development programs.
*Requires ability to envision how the assessments and tools can will and should be utilized by the workforce to help the workforce advance so it can best accomplish current and future goals of the Department.
*Should possess previous experience leading Departments through the process of identifying their MCOs.
*Should possess minimum of 10 years’ experience conducting broad scale surveys, analyzing the resulting data, developing reports, making actionable recommendations and presenting compelling briefings to senior leaders.
*Minimum of 3 years overseeing/managing implementation of multi-year human capital programs.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE:

The federal government is unique in that it has human capital and acquisitions rules, regulations, mandates, and multi-year initiatives to which agencies must adhere. In order to develop communications, navigate the space, manage this project, and develop deliverables without excessive assistance from the Departments' staff, the following federal government experience is required:
*Minimum of 5 years working within federal government on site.
*Requires minimum of 10 years providing human capital consulting (internal or external) in the federal government space.
*Requires minimum of 10 years’ experience leading/managing human capital projects within the federal sector.
*Requires minimum of 5 years of experience implementing Department-wide initiatives within a medium of large Department that is lead directly by a cabinet secretary. (This will ensure the consultant is experienced with dealing with the complexities and resistance that is frequently encountered when working with sub-bureaus.)
*Should possess substantial knowledge of OPM and/or OMB policies regarding human capital with knowledge as it relates to competency modeling, assessment, and MCO identification. Ideally, this individual will also have a robust network that includes policy makers and decision-makers in the federal human capital arena that they can leverage to gain insight to changes in mandates and requirements so that these anticipated changes can be incorporated into the deliverables thereby extending the useful lifecycle of those deliverables.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

This person will serve as the project manager, principal consultant, and one of the champions for the project. As such, it is critical that he/she can easily work with the stakeholders across the Department and quickly build and maintain their support for the work. To that end, the following competencies are strongly preferred:
*Relationship Building: Should have a strong ability develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and clients.
*Teamwork: Should be able to work with most reasonable people and partner with stakeholders and Federal Transportation personnel as required to complete the work.
*Results-Focused: Ability to deliver products and services on time despite setbacks and challenges that may occur when trying to implement projects within department-level agencies.
*Political Savvy: Ability to navigate a complex Department with multiple largely empowered sub-bureaus with only tangentially related agendas and goals and successfully gain the support required to get the project completed.
*Inspires Trust: Creates situations and environments in which people feel safe to share candidly; speaks with a level of authority and credulity that promotes stakeholder support for the project.
