This position uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. The Food Service Clerk III selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Typical duties include: assisting in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records (stored both manually and electronically); verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness; compiling information; and handling and adjusting complaints.
Provide clerical support to Project Manager and other management staff. Assist in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records (stored both manually and electronically); verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness; compiling information; and handling and adjusting complaints. Conduct clerical and administrative details with judgment, tact, accuracy, and confidentiality. Lead other support staff using a thorough knowledge of an office's work and routine to: Choose among widely varying methods and procedures to process complex transactions. Select or devise steps necessary to complete assignments. Maintain flow and output of work to include: Processing of new hire paperwork, administration of electronic timekeeping system (KRONOS), prepare employee schedules for direct labor employees in compliance with SourceAmerica disability and Union requirements, coordination of customer work requirement schedules and change requests, and prepare customer invoices and assist with the sub-contractor invoice process. Identify and distribute uniforms. Prepare and complete required paperwork and various internal reports. Provide assistance to visitors. Work cooperatively with others including all staff, supervisors, administrators, co-workers, community professionals, customers, vendors and the public. Assist with specific projects as needed and requested. Assist with the badging process for all new employees.
Minimum two (2) years experience in a clerical office setting.
Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract.
Must be able to pass organization screening requirements including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
Must have experience dealing with government personnel / customers in relation to contracted services.
Must have advanced computer knowledge. (Excel, Microsoft Word, etc...).
Must be able to carry out written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions.
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must possess ability to multi-task while providing superior service to multiple professional staff with day-to-day operational matters.
Experience with developing, drafting, writing and editing documents and weekly employee schedules.
Must have the ability to reason, make good judgments, plan, organize, and meet deadlines.
Must be able to work in a repetitious manner.
