POSITION SUMMARY:

USFOR-A requires Audio and Visual (A/V) Systems Engineering to design the installation and support of A/V Systems residing on the USFOR-A supported segment of Bagram Air Field and other systems throughout the CJOA-A. Coordinates various processes including design, scheduling, implementing and finalizing projects according to specifications and deadlines. Provides design and production of A/V projects to ensure client satisfaction and project completion within schedule. Keeps customer well-informed of emerging technologies using their knowledge of industry standards in A/V systems design and integration and provides fundamental knowledge of network infrastructure. They must be able to think creatively, develop, and design ideas, systems or products utilizing knowledge of audio programs and control systems. Must be proficient in interaction with networks (wired or wireless) and have the ability to problem solve independently on-site, where remote support can be limited. They will advise and assist A/V and VTC Support Technicians at various sites under USFOR-A control and can be made available to backfill support technicians when needed at various sites at the direction of USFOR-A managers.

Contractor must be able to travel to Operating Bases around the CJOA-A supported by USFOR-A when required to provide A/V engineering services to supported systems. They will advise and assist Audio Visual and VTC Support Technicians at various sites under USFOR-A control and can be made available to backfill support technicians when needed at various sites at the direction of USFOR-A managers. The Contractor shall coordinate with appropriate computer/network help desks to ensure proper performance of systems attached to the A/V systems by submitting trouble tickets to facilitate fix actions on end-user equipment. The Contractor shall have strong communication skills, organization, time management and the ability to respond to changes in a fluid workplace environment. Equipment shall be on the theater property book accounting and financial inventory accounting as it applies to the Army budgeting system and federal regulations, federal law and Army regulation compliance.

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
Personal computer, scanner and other standard office equipment.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
1. Candidate must be able to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
2. The work environment will be 95% indoor and 5% outdoor. The outdoor work
environment may exceed temperatures 100° F. Candidate must be able to physically withstand extreme heat.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The Contractor shall have a minimum of 6-months experience with CineMassive Cineview Video Walls, Planar Video systems, Extron Video Matrix Systems, BIAMP Audio Systems, Shiny Bow Audio and Video Systems, Samson Power Amplifiers and Crestron Pro Bus Systems.

TS/SCI required to support Audio video system on JWICS and special access networks and controlled spaces.

Be able to successfully support all meetings and events requiring A/V support. The Contractor shall be capable of operating this and similar types of A/V equipment.

Experience with Visio and system drawing and diagrams.
