FUNCTIONAL TITLE: Finance Clerk (OCN)
JOB LOCATION/DEPARTMENT: Qatar - LSB
POSITION SUMMARY:
The overall purpose of this position is to provide assistance and support to the Installation Transportation Supervisor. Conducts administrative functions such as but not limited to: preparation of payment documents account status reports (daily and monthly), and verify invoices and receipts; filing and typing, and other financial functions, as needed..
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
1. Prepares payment documents
2. Prepares account status reports (daily and monthly basis).
3. Verifies invoices and receipts.
4. Filing and typing jobs.
5. Performs other duties and assignments as required.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Must be capable of operating a personal computer equipped with Microsoft software and other related software. Be able to produce Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Typical office environment. Interpersonal and communication skills are requirements of this position as there is constant interaction with Army personnel as well as fellow co-workers.
1. Must be able to lift/push/pull 35-45 lbs.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Foreign National
Education/Experience :
College degree preferred, high school diploma is required or equivalent.
Must complete at least 4 years computer course or other relates courses. Must have at least a year of experience as an Accounting Clerk or other related position. Requires as a minimum completion of high school, supplemented by at least 3-5 years of progressively responsible administrative and billing experience.
Program Specific Requirements :
• Must be able to do multiple tasks with accuracy, speed and precision.
• Must be able to coordinate the activities of a multi-national and culturally diverse work force.
• Possess knowledge of safety and environmental issues.
• Accustomed to dealing at executive level.
• Be familiar with various Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
