Position Summary:

Serve as an Intelligence Analyst with a focus on current and emerging Counter-terrorism (CT) and Technical threats. Provide direct support to complex worldwide operations, using specialized tools and techniques in manipulating various classified and open source databases in supporting counterintelligence (CI) and foreign intelligence (FI) operations. The primary function of a Intelligence Analyst is to collaborate with a team of intelligence professionals in support of Counter Terrorism (CT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Counter Intelligence (CI), and targeting operations against targets of interest. A successful Intelligence Analyst identifies and evaluates possible CI and FI concerns, drives HUMINT and CT operations through written products and briefings, and empowers core collectors by producing detailed targeting packages and supports Client staff in developing a broad range of written products in support of senior leadership and USG policymakers

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: 100%.

Reviewing operational cable traffic for intelligence leadsDrafting comprehensive CI, CT, FI, and HUMINT targeting packages in support of the client's objectives.Writing, editing, formatting, and disseminating cables in accordance with Client specific guidelines.Engaging operational components within the customer organization to address targeting requirements and develop new leads for operational exploitation.Supporting decision makers and special projects on intelligence integration issues to include the preparation, production, and coordination of written products and briefings for senior Intelligence Community (IC) members, policy makers, military decision makers, and members of Congress.Conducting detailed searches and traces on items, organizations, and entities, including persons of operational interest and relay pertinent data to relevant customer components.Reviewing IC collection and analysis against hard targets, identifying gaps, recommending solutions, and ensuring alignment with Unifying Intelligence Strategies.Supporting Client planning, facilitation, and after action needs for Community sessions and outreach initiatives to address intelligence integrations matters.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Operate standard office equipment, such as a computer, copy machine and printer. Function in an office environment in a stationary position approximately 50 percent of the time or more.Work well in team environments including demonstrate the ability to function independently with minimal supervision. Function not only in an office environment in a stationary position approximately 50 percent of the time or more, but may work in austere, remote or non-remote permissive and non-permissive environments.May be required to successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview and an extensive background investigation.May be required to undergo successful occupational testing to include an aptitude test, writing test, personality inventory, and interview.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelors' degree or five (5) plus years of task related experience in the Intelligence Community and professional training may be substituted for education.

Qualifications:

Certifications:

Must have Valid U.S. Driver's and be able to obtain an International Driver's License
Must have a valid US Passport


Clearance:

Must have a current, adjudicated, and active TS-SCI w/Poly

Experience:

Seven (7) plus years of task related experience in the Intelligence Community conducting intelligence analysis, research, or targeting in support of the US intelligence community and professional training may be substituted for education.
Demonstrated experience with collection and analytical missions of the AOR.
Writing, editing, formatting, and disseminating cables in accordance with Client specific guidelines.
Working in a fast-paced environment.
Managing projects
Supporting CT, CI, FI, and HUMINT operations with acute familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives.
Client operationally sensitive and open source databases and tools
IC related data bases, especially common IC related analytical tools.
Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) and Multimedia Message Manager (M3).


Knowledge:

United States (U.S.) military organizational structure and HUMINT and counterintelligence missions.
U.S. IC organizational structure.
IC Client cable writing, formatting, coordinating, editing, and disseminating standards and procedures (Required).
Microsoft Office tools
Project Management techniques


Skills:

Significant demonstrated analytic skills, tradecraft experience, or extensive publication on the subject as a noted expert in the field.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groups, assimilate large volumes of information and independently produce written reports.
Foreign language capability desired, but not required.

Abilities:

Communicate well verbally and in writing at all organizational levels, especially ability to brief senior officials.
Conduct or facilitate in-depth meetings over the phone as well as face-to-face.
Work independently and as a team player
Work nights and weekends for operational necessities, as required
Continue developing certifications and expertise through formal training and on-the-job experience

Handle multiple, demanding, and complex projects in a timely manner with accurate results
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to analyze, prioritize, and problem solve effectively
Ability to mentor junior staff
Willingness to travel if so directed by the Client


SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead, manage, and supervise a multi-functional team of analyst
Advise and assist Client with planning, programming, and executing operational requirements
Serve as team lead on single or multiple projects simultaneously or concurrently
