Job Description:

The Role.
As our Investor Relations Specialist you will be expected to assist and interact with money managers, company executives and co-workers. You will work directly with the Director Investor Relations to ensure expectations are met for all deliverables.

The Purpose.
This role is responsible for understanding and communicating Harbor Group investment processes, procedures and compliance requirements.

The Key Responsibilities.
• Maintaining raise spreadsheets in conjunction with direction from the NY Office
o tracking investors coming into deals and commitment amounts
o sending, tracking, reviewing for compliance and follow-up on documents
o Creating and maintaining database investor information
o tracking payments due and paid by investors
o finalization of the raise to turn over to Partnership accounting
• Completing reports on past due investors for corporate meetings
• Compiling investor information kits
• Providing various correspondence and information to investors
• Assisting others in Investor Relations and Business Development executives by providing
o requested information and/or materials,
o providing phone and email support to executives
• Assisting in the preparation for fund presentation events
• Recordkeeping, organization, import and export of tax documents and correspondence
• Other duties, as assigned

The Basics.
• 3 -5 years of experience assisting and interacting in a business development, investment, legal services or similar environment
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Must be detail oriented, highly organized, comfortable working with senior executives by phone/email/in person
• Comfortable working independently
