A Tooling Design Engineer job in Cincinnati, OH is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and three plus years of experience. In this role, you will perform stress calculations on static structures.
Tooling Design Engineer job duties:
• Provide support for engineering design of assembly tooling
• Support the development, drafting and procurement process
• Development of assembly, disassembly and inspection tooling for aircraft or ground based turbine engine components
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Three plus years of experience working with engineering drawings and basic stress analysis
• Experience with ANSYS or Workbench
• Prior experience with Manufacturing, Tooling or Assembly
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Due to the nature of our work US Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required
Desired experiences and skills include:
• Experience in production tool design with an emphasis on lift, turn, rotate, assembly and disassembly fixturing utilized in the gas turbine industry
• Experience with NX
• Security Clearance
