A Test Systems Engineer job in Oldsmar, FL is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree, and eight or more years of applicable experience.
Test Systems Engineer job duties:
• Design, develop, and analyze system requirements
• Lead system architecture definition, design, analysis, implementation, integration, and verification efforts
• Plan, design, develop, and verify aerospace/aviation test systems
• Perform various analyses to characterize and optimize system
• Perform other analyses such as for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialty quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success
• Develop, maintain and identify improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes
• Resolve cross-functional technical issues
• Travel, as necessary, to customer sites for technical interchange meetings, sales presentations, system delivery and integration, system troubleshooting, etc.
Qualifications:
• B.S. degree or equivalent experience supporting an engineering firm
• Eight or more years of experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Experience with VISIO, MS Project
• Experience with Solidworks, AutoCAD, DOORs
• DO-254, DO-178C, and DO-160 familiarity
• Due to the nature of work performed, candidates must be U.S. Citizens
