Departmental Objective
The Housing department ensures that student-housing facilities are well maintained, clean and safe for the students of CNU .

Purpose of the Position
This position will maintain various floors by performing floor maintenance duties using various floor maintenance equipment and supplies.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA's) and/or Competencies required and preferred
Required:
Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning supplies
Skilled in the use of floor maintenance equipment and supplies
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs., tolerate frequent bending, stooping, and climbing stairs
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to work in teams
Good organization skills
Ability to communicate effectively and to maintain positive relations with faculty, staff and students

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required
Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license.
Experience Required: Experience with floor maintenance and floor maintenance equipment. Experience with cleaning methods and cleaning supplies.

Experience Preferred: Previous experience working at a university.
