The Deputy Technical Integration Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing release processes for code through development, test, and production environments. The Deputy Technical Integration Manager job function works collaboratively with all participants in software development projects and is supportive of developers and testers as they set up their build dev/test environments. Qualified candidates will be strong communicators who can bridge together stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and developers.

Position Responsibilities:
• Assisting with grooming user stories by adding technical implementation details and technical acceptance criteria
• Supporting peer code reviews as needed,
• Conducting the final code review for pull requests
• Driving results and setting the cadence for the Scrum team
• Removing developer roadblocks
• Coordinating across the extended team to ensure that the developers get what they need to successfully complete their work
• Ability to lead Scrum stand-ups, groomings, plannings, and reviews if needed

Experience Level:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other business-related field, Master’s Degree preferred
• 10+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience, DoD/Federal Government experience preferred.
• 5+ years of Experience with developing Java for web applications
• 5+ years of experience with the popular Spring framework (including Spring Security and other frameworks such as Hibernate)
• 2+ years developing web applications using AngularJS
• 2+ years of experience in running Scrum Agile, working with multiple Scrum teams concurrently (geographically dispersed) and understanding challenges that arise with remote teams
• Experience interacting with Senior Leadership
• Experience working with customers that have transitioned from Waterfall, and helping customers understand "why" and "how" Scrum addresses their business needs
• Experience with build scripts and package managers including Maven and Gulp
• Experience developing applications that leverage RESTful APIs as a means for data delivery and associated security strategies to protect the data. Familiarization with SOAP Web Services.
• Experience developing SQL databases including the ability to organize data and write performant queries (i.e. Postgres, MySQL, etc)
• Experience using Git for source revision control (including good code management and merging practices)
• Experience leveraging NoSQL document stores such as Elastic(search) and MongoDB
• Experience with an API Management Platform or API Gateway (i.e. Apigee, etc)
• Experience configuring Linux/Apache/Tomcat servers for development (including use of containers with Docker)
• Experience delivering software for Federal agencies (specifically DoD) and the Security, Accessibility, and Technical policies that apply
• Exposure to configure management tools, such as Atlassian's Suite, including Jira (or equivalent) for use in Agile issue management, backlogs, and team metrics/reporting
• Understanding of the technologies and challenges of developing web applications (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, etc)
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
• Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
• Proven ability working successfully in a collaborative and diverse environment
• Ability to define, create, and execute unit tests (both in Java and JavaScript)
• Ability to identify performance issues at the app, API, and data tiers and offer solutions to make it better

Certifications:
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required Secret Security Clearance
