CACI is looking for a Junior Acquisition Analyst to support our team in Columbia, MD.
What You'll Get to Do:
Support a Director level client by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, generating and tracking action items, assisting with the generation of briefings and other support tasks as needed.Provide critical review of documents for technical content and style.Ensure grammatical accuracy and proper formatting.Research and analyze program trends, identify issues, and recommend solutions. Assist with drafting and reviewing System Requirement Documents (SRDs), track and maintain configuration control of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and provide editorial reviews of other technical documentation associated with engineering products. Assist in conducting research, gathering information, engaging with the Intelligence Community, and developing material for War Rooms to understand and communicate threat features and capabilities to the US Surface Navy.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in business, security studies, or other technically relevant field. Zero to two (0 to 2) years of related (business operations, project analysis, scheduling, or administrative support) experience. Willingness to work on multiple complex projects and ability to prioritize numerous concurrent tasks in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment. Willingness to proactively identify and address issues and recommend solutions. Willingness to learn complex, technical work to understand impacts of actions and communicate those to leadership. Must have proficient knowledge and experience with MS Office software suite including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Must possess a DOD Secret Clearance.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
A Master's Degree in business, security studies, or other technically relevant field. A minimum of three to five (3 to 5) experience supporting a program office in defense acquisition or technical administrative support. Familiarity with FAR, ACAT and DoD 5000 acquisition process and budget cycles. Familiarity with NAVSEA, PEO IWS, NSWC Dahlgren, and other Naval Surface Warfare Centers. Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) best practices and experience developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Familiarity with US Navy warfare system design & installation in the shipbuilding program cycle.
