Job Description:

CACI is seeking a Sr. Combat Systems Engineer for the Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) Program. This position is located in Washington, D.C. As a Sr. Combat Systems Engineer, you will bring ten years of experience in Combat Systems and C4I Systems maintenance and operation. What You’ll Get to Do:
•Identify and create life cycle execution strategies for depot level combat system maintenance across ship’s expected service life. Include review of Class Advisories, Fleet Advisories, Modernization planning and execution
•Ensure combat system maintenance corrective measures are executed per acceptable reliability standards
•Develop combat system maintenance work scope packages based on predicted reliability analyses.
•Conduct detailed analysis of ongoing ship availabilities for C5I systems using Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP) processes to identify areas of concern as related to deferred work, inadequate execution or future programming requirements.
•Liaison with In-Service Engineers, Technical Working Groups, industry partners and other stakeholders to conduct LCS combat systems root cause investigation activity and identify relevant in-progress corrective actions.
•Coordinate with Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) experts to capture corrective actions needed to sustain LCS C5I systems
•Conduct engineering analysis of combat systems equipment to determine life cycle costs and maintenance periodicities. Analyze data to determine trends in cost, maintenance and reliability


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
•US Citizenship
•Must have the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance
•Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent military experience in Combat Systems and C4I Systems maintenance and operations
•Ten years of experience in Combat Systems and C4I Systems, preferably with the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) FREEDOM or INDEPENDENCE Variant. DDG, CVN, or LHA / LHD Combat Systems Experience is also acceptable.
•Understanding of U.S. Navy Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP)
•Knowledge of the U.S. Navy Ship Change Document (SCD) Process.
•Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and NMP-MOM requirements
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Power Point.


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
•Prior Enlisted US Navy experience ratings on LCS Combat Systems to include FCS, ET, or OS.
•Prior experience related to combat systems maintenance and modernization planning, to include working with Fleet representatives, Planning Yards, ISEAs and Program Offices.
•Extensive experience with U.S. Navy Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP)
•Experience with task planning and execution
