DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Consolidated Collection & Analysis Strategies (CCAS) facilitator embedded within the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense (Intelligence), responsible for building multi-agency Communities of Interest and facilitating them in developing creative multi-INT collection and analysis strategies against specific hard intelligence problem sets. Responsible for developing partnerships with other DoD and IC agencies on a routine basis. Coordinates with all-source analysts to document intelligence gaps and research various requirements databases to capture multi-INT collection postures and lead COIs in developing a coordinated response.
Technical skills: Applies a broad knowledge of Collection Management and intelligence analysis principles, practices and procedures to the completion of difficult assignments; Full understanding of the technical and functional requirements for the position; Promotes strong customer/MCR relationships by identifying requirements beyond current tasking.
Communication skills: Effectively exchanges highly classified information with others inside the Intelligence Community; Frequent customer contact demonstrating articulate, customer focused behavior that reflects positively on MCR.
Problem Solving skills: Demonstrates relatively high level of problem solving to find solutions to difficult technical problems; Provides assistance on unusual problems.
Independent Judgment: Work is generally performed according to existing procedures and instructions, but may require analysis of problems and development of solutions; Receives instructions on specific assignments, objectives and results.
Supervisory Skills: Responsible as individual contributor and community leader; Coordinates projects/tasks staff.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
8+ years collection Management/Intelligence experience (including 5+ years supporting Combatant Command
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy
Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office applications and software
US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the designated Government clearance (Top Secret). Must have an active Top Secret/Special Compartmented Intelligence (SCI) clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree preferred. 10+ years intelligence Collection Management experience in multiple intelligence disciplines. Knowledge of collection management systems. CI Polygraph; All-Source Intelligence Analysis; Collection Management; Technical Writing
