DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Work as a junior member of a team that conducts a variety of comprehensive cost estimation and cost analyses in support of the DHS Cost Analysis Division (CAD) and several DHS components. Tasks will include: reviewing cost artifacts; preparing reports, presentations and spreadsheets; supporting cost research and issue paper development; Assist with database architecture plans and development; assisting with the population of databases; organizing and normalizing cost data; providing effective verbal and written correspondence; and supporting the development of cost estimates.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in quantitative discipline.
0-4 years of experience in support of government acquisition.
Demonstrated skill in conducting basic mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other
scientific methods.
Demonstrated skill in creating and maintaining databases and working with spreadsheets
and complex models.
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic work environment and ability to coordinate
and perform multiple assignments.
Possess communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated capability to work under the direction of experienced analysts.
US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the DHS Suitability Clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
ICEAA or AACEI certifications preferred but not required.
DoD/DHS/IC experience desired.
Interfacing with government customers.
It is desirable that the candidate have experience with the following software tools/applications/methodologies - B usiness intelligence tools, Parametric models, Deliver JIT training, ACEIT, COCOMO II, SEER, TruePlanning.
