DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Are you a test and evaluation manager with acquisition experience? Have you worked on Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs and have a desire to help a foreign partner of the U.S. Air Force obtain the best possible flight simulators and maintenance trainers available? Do you like to travel, including to foreign counties? If so, the Agile Combat Support Directorate, Simulators Division (AFLCMC/WNS) needs you!
As an FMS test and evaluation manager, senior, you'll have responsibility for the following:
Assist in designing, planning, executing, analyzing and reporting phases of all FMS test and evaluation programs (including any Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certifications and procedures).
Utilize the acquisition process to establish a test program that confirms the system under test meets program objectives.
Provide assistance in recommending, assessing and analyzing test and evaluation strategies, requirements and objectives.
Develop, maintain, update, coordinate and review all test-related documentation for adequacy, specification/performance requirement compliance and conformity with mandatory guidance. This includes Integrated Test Team (ITT) Charters, Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), Requests For Proposals (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOWs, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and others.
Chair ITT meetings, Test Readiness Assessments (TRAs) and Joint Ready To Ship Assessments (JRSAs).
Oversee contractor and Government-foreign customer developmental and operational testing at contractor, Government facilities and overseas locations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Have a minimum of 10 years of systems acquisition test and evaluation experience and a Master's degree or a minimum of 18 years of systems acquisition test and evaluation experience and a Bachelor's degree.
In-depth knowledge of AFI 99-103, AFMAN 63-119 and ITT Charter/TEMP development.
US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the designated Government clearance (SECRET). Must have an active SECRET clearance.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Operational experience as an aircrew member or aircraft maintainer.
Experience with aircrew flight simulators and aircraft maintenance training devices.
Knowledgeable in all phases of the FMS acquisition program management life cycle requirements throughout the FMS case life cycle.
Have the ability to communicate with FMS customers, both formally (written) and in-person (orally).
Familiar with FAA National Simulator Program Flight Simulation Training Device Qualification Guidance, Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 60 and Advisory Circular (AC) 120-40.
