DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Configuration and data management - every Air Force acquisition program needs it. Especially those dealing with future cutting-edge intelligence gathering systems and technology. Are you an experienced CM/DM with a TOP SECRET clearance that enjoys a challenge? If so, we have a place for you in the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance and Special Operations Forces (ISR/SOF) Directorate at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
As a configuration/data manager senior you'll have vast and important duties supporting the program office. These include:
Assisting the Government with CM, DM, Engineering Data Management (EDM and Deficiency Report (DR) actions for individual program systems following established Government directives, policies and guidance. Tasks include Configuration Identification, Change Control, Status Accounting, and Audits.
Assisting with reviewing program-unique hardware and software specifications, including system specifications, development specification, and product specifications for proper format, content, and compliance with program requirements and appropriate standards.
Processing and tracking nomenclature and Computer Program Identification Numbers (CPINs) requests.
Perform proper configuration control, including receiving and distributing various program documents such as Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Statements of Work (SOWs) Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), Requests for Deviation/Waiver (RFD/RFW), DRs, Airworthiness Directive Notes, Service Actions and Notices of Deficiency.
Provide advice on data rights issues and reviewing deliverables data rights assertions for compliance with Government directives and guidance.
Assist with Configuration Control Board (CCBs) preparation and facilitation.
Maintain change proposal files and assist in providing historical information.
Provide advisory assistance and support Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs), Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and compliance audits. This includes audit planning, auditing hardware and software configuration items (CIs), and disposition and tracking of action items and minutes.
Assist with maintaining Configuration Status Accounting databases and records.
Assist the Government prepare Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items, Contractor Data Requirements Substantiation forms and organize data calls.
Support the Government with conducting data reviews.
Logging and tracking CDRL submittals in Government databases.
Provide support to the Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO) and assist with controlling dissemination by having knowledge of STINFO policies, process and practices for proper marking and handling.
Receive, process and track DRs, to include assistance with establishing and support maintenance of DR/Material Improvement Project (MIP) files and Joint Deficiency Reporting System database.
Provide disposition instruction for exhibits and assist in planning and conducting MIP Review Board meetings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Possess a Master's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience. A minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Master's degree.
A minimum of four (4) years of any experience must be on Department of Defense (DoD) programs or projects. Experience and degree requirements must be in a field relevant to your functional area.
You will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and MUST meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. You must have a SECRET clearance.
