Responsibilities

Operations and Maintenance Tier III Support for IT Infrastructure across multiple networks and security domainsSecurity/Information Assurance response to potential Vulnerabilities related to IAVAs and OPDIRsBrief leadership on the health of systems, individual and/or enterpriseSupport Accreditation efforts related to technologiesProviding user support and guidanceRecommending and implementing upgrades, patches, new applications and new equipmentUpdate/Create documentation as needed (user guides, admin guides, knowledge base articles, FAQs, quick reference guides)Patch and implement security controls in response to IAVAs and OPDIRs on respective Microsoft Windows server and workstation systemSupport, maintain, troubleshoot, install, configure, and upgrade multiple Programs of Records (many mission critical)Respond to, incidents, change requests, and service requests making sure to follow up with the customer to ensure completionOther duties as required

Qualifications

Required Skills:
DoD TS/SCIMeet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (for example, must have and maintain active Security + CE, Microsoft certificate, and at least 3 years in IA technology or a related area)Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V technologyHow to Create Hyper-V Virtual Machines/ServersHow to Upgrade Hyper-V environmentMaintain Hyper-V environmentSTIG Hyper-V environmentSnapshot Hyper-V serversRestore form Hyper-V SnapshotDetailed knowledge of the Windows Operating systems to include Server and WorkstationWorking knowledge of DoD STIGs related to the applicable technologies and how to implement, mitigate, and write POAM statementsWorking knowledge of network, hardware, and application virtualization
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of standard DoD and Marine Corps concepts, practices, and procedures. Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps interoperability requirementsExperience with the Raytheon Trusted Thin ClientPowerShell scripting using any/all of the respective plugins related to the applicable technologiesExperience with Microsoft Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)Active Directory, Group Policy, Linux OS, Networks, MS Exchange, MS Lync, SCCM, Service Manager, SQL Server, Networked Printers/Services, Distributed File Services, Data Protection Manager
