Job Summary:
Kokua Support Services is currently seeking a Mechanical Designer II Senior Checker to provide mechanical design, electrical design, and drafting support leading to multiple aviation systems Technical Data Packages (TDP) suitable for prototype, full production and special mission hardware. All designs shall be accomplished using Parametric Technology Pro-Engineer/CREO CAD software.
Duties include:
• Drawing and Design Checker of aircraft structures and mounting and support structures.
• Drawing configuration manager – ED&A.
• Mentor Junior level designers.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Associate Degree plus additional undergraduate classes working towards a Bachelor’s Degree. Significant experience over 10 years can be equivalent to an Associate Degree with consideration of total skill set.
• 8+ years’ experience with Parametric Technology Pro-Engineer/CREO CAD or equivalent software
• Proficient in the use of Windchill intralink to archive work
• Must be familiar with SAE AS50881 – Wiring Aerospace Vehicles.
• Secret security clearance
