OVERVIEW:
John H. Northrop & Associates Inc. (JHNA) is seeking a Senior Test Engineer in support of the US Army’s Aviation Development Directorate located at Ft. Eustis, VA. AAD develops critical technologies and products to modernize, maintain and sustain Army Aviation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the Government by supporting, testing and test planning of assigned systems across the full range of the Acquisition life cycle
Ensure Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) are addressed and assess the performance of the systems by developing Measures of Performance and Measures of Effectiveness (MoP/MoE) that are used for traceability to ensure specified thresholds stipulated in the requirements documents are met.
Assist in developing Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), conducting Test Readiness Review (TRR) briefs, requesting cost estimates, scheduling tests, and dealing with budget issues that pertain to the systems being tested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-At least 4 years of relevant experience.
-Experience in testing of complex mechanical, electromechanical and electrical/electronic systems.
-Experience providing subject matter expertise and technical support for proof of concept, developmental tests, operational tests, factory, and acceptance tests.
-Experience monitoring and coordinating with the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) and Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED) on plans for testing and airworthiness assessment as applicable.
-Experience gathering documentation to support field exercises and coordinate with test ranges and support activities.
-Experience ensuring that deficiencies found during testing are documented and reported to find resolution to mitigate risks.
-Must be able to otbain and maintain a secret clearance.
