Software Engineer

Overview

JHNA is looking for Software Engineers to support the US Army’s Aviation Development Directorate located at Ft. Eustis, VA. ADD develops critical technologies and products to modernize, maintain and sustain Army Aviation.

Responsibilities
• Support Science & Technology (S&T) programs involving software intensive aviation mission systems.
• Produce optimal solutions to complex software systems integration problems
• Use model-based systems engineering techniques and use of shared data models for integration of hardware and software components from multiple sources
• Maintaining awareness of the current state of technology and emerging trends in avionics and network architecture.
• Performing integration for live-virtual-constructive simulation systems


Qualifications:

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of simulation development software, and simulation architectures
• Experience with software architecture design and implementation, and integration of disparate software systems using open systems architecture standards

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical major such engineering, computer science, mathematics or related field

Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Education Level:

Bachelors degree or higher

Commensurate with experience
