This is a full-time contract position based in NYC with the potential to go full-time staff.
WP BrandStudio - the branded content arm of The Washington Post - is seeking a mid-level to senior designer. The team is constantly pushing boundaries to create new and innovative native ad solutions for our advertising partners while operating similarly to a creative advertising agency within The Washington Post. This position will primarily focus on post-sale executions, but will still be expected to help out with any pre-sale and internal projects as needed.
Reporting to the Creative Design Managers of WP BrandStudio, the ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn while evolving his/her skill set. She/he should have an interest in cross-media storytelling and looking to grow in digital storytelling tools (data visualizations, video, photography, interactives, etc.). This candidate will also be expected to work closely with our development teams.
