Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), provider of automated software testing, data analysis, and cybersecurity solutions for complex defense systems, is seeking new to recent graduates (0 – 3 years) for Associate Systems Engineer / Software Engineer positions in support of its innovative automated solutions. These positions offer engineers the opportunity to utilize their knowledge and talents as part of a collaborative team in a growing company.
Candidates must have experience in application development with JAVA or C++ in a Linux or Windows environment.
Other experience and skills desired (but not required) include:
Experience with any of the following: MATLAB, JavaScript, Perl, Python, XML, RESTful interfaces and other web development languages or applications
Experience with SysML, UML and associated tools (e.g. Rhapsody)
Experience with Postgres or other DBMS software
Experience organizing and analyzing big data
Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery tools (e.g. Jenkins)
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g. Subversion)
Familiarity with VMware or other virtualization software
Experience developing applications for US Navy command and control systems
Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics or Math.
All applicants must be U.S. citizens and be able to obtain/maintain an active DOD security clearance.
These positions are located in one of IDT’s offices in Arlington, VA; Fall River, MA; Mt. Laurel, NJ; or San Diego, CA. Approximately 15% travel time may be required.
