Valdez International Corporation a major Aerospace / Defense contractor has positions available on its IAFNOS contract in San Antonio, Texas for a Network Analyst.
The AFIN Response Cell utilizes specialized tools to manage and coordinate three types of events within the network.
Authorized Service Interruption (ASI)
Review and provide daily updates on the AFIN ASI process, brief senior Air Force leadership on ASI status. Daily ASI Management, receive approved ASIs, schedule, coordinate, review, process, and de-conflict on internal dashboard. Quality check that all ASI requests are in compliance with minimum information requirements and work with customers to bring those lacking in compliance to submittal standards. Coordinate ASI requests with Network Operations Support Centers (NOSs). Publishing approved ASIs internal dashboard. Monitor upcoming ASIs for the next 24 to 72 hours and provide reports. Monitor status of all ASIs and update them on the dashboard.
Classified Message Incident (CMI)
Daily incident management - report reviewing, processing, account locking/unlocking, and tracking of all open incident requests. Report large scale events and briefs leadership on status. Coordinates exchange server remediation with NOS's. Coordinates remediation of all affected hardware and touch maintenance at local level.
Electronically Stored Information (ESI)
Daily report reviewing, processing, assigning resolution, and tracking. Daily management, report reviewing, processing, assigning and tracking. Review documents for completion, digital signatures, and required information. Coordinate ESI requests with appropriate investigative personnel and Network Operations Support Centers (NOSs). Create and route remedy tickets for the requests. Update ESI tracking documents. Monitor for all ESI email traffic and remedy tickets. Ensure all ESI are completed by assigned suspense dates.
Required Skills
Prior Air Force experience (active duty or contractor) preferred. Experience with one of the identified areas above preferred. Knowledge of the Air Force Information Network (AFIN) Enterprise network. Understanding of Microsoft Windows Server networks and core network services that supports those networks. Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
Certifications Required
Candidate must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) clearance level of Secret prior to start date. Candidate must be certified in accordance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II approved baseline certifications prior to start date. Additional industry certifications may be required within specific time frames.
