Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities
Produce various types of drawings that include site plans, equipment layouts and details, elevation views of site/equipment, schematics and grounding details Produce drawings from sketches, mark-ups, existing as-builts, site maps, photos, field notes and existing AutoCAD drawings Provide Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawing capability for the creation and update of Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) telecommunications, IT infrastructure, and systems drawings Drawings shall reflect engineered solutions be of sufficient detail to serve as installation drawings Convert the mark-up drawings to final, as-built drawings

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience Minimum of three (3) At least 2 years of experience in AutoCAD 2013 or newer, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Photoshop Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance Must pass a pre-deployment screening and complete a military Combat Readiness Center (CRC) process
Preferred Skills and Certifications
Knowledge/experience with IT infrastructure, systems, and equipment, such as:
Copper, coaxial and fiber optic cables, underground and direct buried cabling systems Fiber optic modems, fiber multiplex equipment, fiber patch panels, analog and digital copper patch panels, main and intermediate distribution frames
Lightning protection and supporting ground and power connections Cabinets, cable ladder and rack systems, and equipment components in the cabinet Completion of AutoCAD level 2 training Familiarity with military organizations, protocols, procedures, and processes, and working knowledge of addressing issues/concerns using the chain-of-command.
