Job Summary : L3 ForceX is seeking an Industrial Security Administrator (ISA) to maintain a visible presence at the entry control point to safeguard and protect employees and visitors. The ISA will greet and check the identification of staff and visitors and perform routine preventative maintenance inspections throughout facility. The selected candidate will assist the FSO to implement elements of the L3 ForceX industrial security program in support of the National Industrial Security Operations Procedures Manual (NISPOM) and other Government and L3 security policies and procedures. This position requires professional and courteous professional and courteous demeanor with exceptional communication, customer service and interpersonal skills as they will interface with employees and visitors as well as liaise with property management and vendors to maintain an established facilities management program.
Qualifications:
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
2 years of experience in general administration and security supporting the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and JPAS/SWFT/SIMS databases
2 years of experience in facilities management
Experience with access control and badging systems preferred
Experience working with external vendors
Ability to enforce Government and company security policies and procedures
Intermediate competency level with Microsoft Office Suite programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must already possess a Secret clearance and be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
Bachelor's degree in related security discipline, or equivalent education and work experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Will utilize JPAS/SWFT/SIMS databases to initiate personnel clearance investigations, send/receive unclassified/classified visit requests, and maintain employee information
Will be responsible to perform visitor control responsibilities to include submittal and verification of visitors and employees unclassified and classified visitor requests and manage access control badges
Maintains an established facilities management program and service contracts. Schedules and documents all preventative maintenance and repair actions completed. Will be required to perform minor required facility inspections.
Ensures safety of the facilities from fire, flood and other hazards and assists in the review/update of crisis management plans
Participates in preparing the facilities annual budget
Proficient in the creation and updates of security plans, procedures, and instructions
Assists the FSO with the creation and updates to security process and procedures, and security. May be required to assist with security ingestions and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Will perform additional administrative and maintenance tasks as required
Work Environment and Physical Demands :
Work performed in an office environment with people in close proximity
Duties may require working outside of normal working hours (evenings and weekends)
Ability to sit at a desk, look at a monitor and type for extended periods of time
May be required to lift/move up to 20 lbs
Travel up to 10% of the time
