Job Description:

The Customer Service Lead is responsible for coordinating AMI’s repair processes including documentation, repairs, delivery, and providing feedback to improve quality of the products.

Duties include the following:
Logistics-Getting repair units to and from the repair facility
Repair-Ranging from electronic to mechanical repairs of modules, boards, panels, cables and instruments
Component and system testing to satisfaction of acceptance test procedure and customer needs
Use ERP system to prepare work orders, generate purchase requests, and initiate shipping documents for repair orders
Coordinate activity with Customers, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Management to keep repair job production on schedule
Will coordinate the activities of any additional repair department technicians


Qualifications:
Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Associates degree in a technical field is preferred Must have strong mechanical and electrical abilities and be proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and work instructions Must have work history with mechanical and electrical assemblies Must be proficient with hand tools and measuring equipment Must have ability to perform in and contribute to a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills Must have very good computer skills including Windows based programs such as Word and Excel Experience with Made2Manage is preferred Some supervisory or leadership experience is preferred Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
