Job Description:

As a Budget Analyst, the candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, coordinating budgetary functions and providing overall direction and guidance on these functions. In this position, he/she will perform a wide range of analytical, technical and advisory functions related to the budgetary process. He/she will compile data from existing sources/systems (including PROBE and Data Warehouse) and provide financial /data analytics to provide recommendations for readiness. Candidate will provide subject matter advice on Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution issues and integrate with Program Evaluation Groups (PEGs), Army Program Analysis & Evaluation (PA&E) analysts, and produce, develop, or update various charts, graphs, and other products for program formulation, budget, justification, and testimony for Readiness and facility/installation requirements and funding.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must hold active Secret Clearance
- Must have thorough knowledge of databases, statistics, data analysis and fiscal accounting/management regulations
- Absolutely must have GFEBS experience
- Must have extensive knowledge of current wartime conditions and use of war funds
- Must have extensive knowledge of and ability to research current procedures, statutory and regulatory requirements, and precedents controlling fiscal directives/regulations under review and make suggestions to revisions if required.
- Should have at least three (3) years of experience working with complex enterprise-wide projects for organizations with multiple subcomponents and subordinate processes. (5 yrs preferred)
- Must have demonstrated SME-level experience with PPBE, data analysis, and briefings/presentations
-Bachelor's degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
- CDFM preferred
- ORSA preferred
